Delaine Fedson
is the founding  director and Music Director of the Young Texas Harp Ensemble.
Ms. Fedson teaches Harp at the University of Texas in Austin
 and Southwestern University in Georgetown.  
Ms. Fedson continues to  maintain an active private studio in Austin as well as giving workshops
in Suzuki harp Instruction on a national and international basis. She also performs with orchestras and chamber groups in Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth. 

Jacquelyn Venter Ridder

The Young Texas Harp Ensemble announces the appointment of a new Co-Musical Director,
Jacquelyn Venter Ridder.  
Ms. Ridder
 is the principal harpist of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony
and has been a featured soloist at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.
 She has also performed with the Cedar Rapids Symphony, the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, South East Iowa Symphony Orchestra, and the Central Iowa Symphony.
Ms. Venter Ridder graduated with Harp Performance majors from Oberlin Conservatory (bachelor’s degree) and UNI (master’s degree). She formerly taught at Luther College and the University of Northern Iowa Suzuki School, and now is a Doctoral Candidate at the Butler School of Music
 and the harp instructor for the UT String Project
